Punjab Government Allows Schools To Open For Classes 10th-12th From 26th July

Since the cases of COVID-19 are decreasing, the government of Punjab has decided to open schools for students of 10th, 11th and 12th standards from 26th July. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amrinder Singh announced relaxations due to a decline in COVID-19 graph, which included allowance of upto 150 people for indoor gatherings and 300 for any outdoor event.

While talking about the schools, CM stated that schools only for the classes from 10th to 12th will be allowed to commence physically. But the option of continuing the studies through virtual or online classes will also be available, because the students will be joining the school premises only with the consent of their parents and guardians. He also made sure that only fully vaccinated teachers and staff will be allowed to come to the schools.

Sharing this information officially, the official Twitter account of Government of Punjab tweeted.

As per reports, this decision has been taken considering the prediction of the Cambridge University that the cases shall further decline in coming weeks. He also added that the government can give a green flag to the physical conduct of the remaining classes as well from 2nd August.
